AI is making analyst faster but it also making some of them careless.

I have seen analyst generate sharp business insights in seconds. Looks good and clear summaries, confidence recommendations.

But ask the assumption the insight is based on? Silence.

The conclusion is right but reasoning is missing.

AI is now doing the first 60% of thinking, like summarizing the trends, highlights pattern and suggesting actions.

What it doesn't do is challenge the business context. It wont tell you the target was unrealistic or the external factors skewed the trend. That's were analyst are slipping.

The good analyst use AI to accelerate judgment whereas the weak ones outsource it.

If AI suggests the conclusion, are you still owning the decision behind it?
